Our origins

Minka-Dev brings together the wide experience of its founders and partners in business development in contexts of poverty, in which the methodology used by Minka-Dev has been created

The experience we have gathered from several projects in Latin America, India and Uganda in various business sectors (ICT, micro-finance, energy, water, food and agriculture), has allowed us to notice the huge gap between the thousands of needs, (which, if met, would contribute to the reduction of poverty) and the business solutions that are addressed to a small part of the world population.

What is Minka-dev

Minka-Dev is a platform that connects the needs and desires of the most disadvantaged populations with innovative, inclusive and sustainable business solutions, thus promoting equal access to opportunities and favoring the creation of economic development ecosystems that are comprehensive, inclusive and sustainable.

In Minka-Dev, we look and give advice for the best business solutions in order to meet needs that represent opportunities for both: business development and poverty reduction.

Minka-dev works as a marketplace of business opportunities that have a direct impact on reducing poverty, creating equal access to opportunities and an inclusive and sustainable business development.

To encourage the implementation of business initiatives of a inclusive and sustainable nature that involve impoverished communities. To create an ecosystem for sustainable and inclusive economic development.

Vision
To create ecosystems of comprehensive economic development in impoverished populations, that can generate more innovative, sustainable and inclusive business and social models.
